Okay guys, 2025 is closing and we just had a little throwback to everything that happened this year. So we thought to share some of our main projects that happened behind the scenes apart from all the other things:
1. New rehearsal room
At the end of 2024 we found ourselves with our rehearsal room in a really bad condition. It had been a mess for years, but after the “obsYdian” tour in 2024 it turned into end-level chaos. So the first months in 2025 were all about redesigning our room. You might have already seen parts of it in some reels. This is probably the first time we have a room that really feels good to rehearse, record and hang out.
2. Helping out friends in Soulbound
As some of you might know, we were involved in the production of their upcoming record “sYn”. Kai was mainly involved in mixing and parts of the songwriting (“Chaos & Amen” and “Neon Battlefield”), while Benni handled recording edits and created artwork designs and animations. The production was quite a ride throughout the year with very tight schedules and deadlines.

More Information3. New live system
The third major project this year was a long-term redesign of our live system. The old rack contained basically everything and was fast to set up, but also very heavy and inconvenient in certain situations - especially on stages with difficult access or during flights.
The new system focuses on weight, size and convenience based on our touring experience. Planning started after the last Finland show in July and took around three months to mostly complete. Like everything, it’s still work in progress - but so far it works really well and our backs definitely appreciate the reduced weight.
4. Studio upgrade
With the recording of the Bodom cover and the Soulbound production, there were also several upgrades in Benni’s studio environment - including new hardware compressors, preamps and monitors. The main goal was faster vocal recordings that require less editing afterwards.
What do you guys think? 2026 could be a good year to start recording a new album, couldn’t it?
We wish you a Happy New Year and hope to see you all in 2026!
